SMRT Trains Introduces “SMRT’s Music in Community” to Enrich the Commuter Experience

Aesthetically Designed Piano Designed By Students

One of the significant attractions of the attractive-looking piano placed at the Bayfront MRT station on the Circle Line is the customized decoration done by more than 200 students. All the learners aged between four to 13 years from leading five schools in Singapore, namely APSN Chaoyang School, APSN Katong School, My First Skool Chin Swee, PCF Sparkletots Preschool @ Punggol Coast Blk 410A (EY), and Skool4Kidz Preschool @ Sembawang Sunbreeze, have showcased their creative talent. Additionally, commuters will also find intuitive artwork done by students on the piano’s frame with close coordination with Mrs. Josephine Teo, Minister for Communications and Information and Second Minister for Home Affairs, who attended the launch as its Guest-of-Honour.
